I am an Italian-American, born and raised on beautiful Long Island, in NY. I grew up around the Northshore, and love our beautiful beached esp on the Southshore = ) Lke Fire Island and the Hamptons and Montauk ... I was a teenage mother who than married her HS sweetheart and "baby's daddy" = ) We divorced shortly after, deciding we were better friends than married couple, which I am glad, because he met a beautiful girl and married her and had 3 adorable children with her ~ the 4th is on his way %)

My beautiful son is now 13, he's into doing his own thing, esp baseball, basketball, and soccer and is trying to get into skateboarding. We have the halfpipe half built = )

After moving back home from Arizona (where I lived with my ex) I started dating a wonderful guy I crushed on when I was younger, we dated for 10 years until the fights started, this past year we were on again and off again... I love him in my heart still, but we wanted different things in life.
I am in Grad school working toward my Masters in Childhood education which is 1st through 6th grade. I already am certified to teach 7-12 Social Studies, which my Bachelors degree is in. My goal is to teach 6th grade Social Studies, because in NY that's when they teach Ancient Civs. That is my true passion!
I LOVE HISTORY, I find it so fascinating, because unlike fiction, the shit that happened is REAL, and some of it is so fucked up... you couldn't even fathom it, except that someone has done it already.
I love Medieval times, the stories and myths, and the crusades, all fascinate me. I also LOVE the early 1900's WWI followed by the sexual revolution in the 1920's and if you don't think the 1920's was a sexual revolution... you are missing something, they were WILD back then.. Sex and Drugs and short skirts and they partied all the time! Then WWII and the atrocities that the Nazi's did! No one could ever imagine something that horrible happening to human beings. It is one of the most horrible things that has ever happened on this earth... unbelievable as it is genocide happened again and again, it saddens me. but these are things we need to learn and know before we too are a part of them. People always say that if you do not learn history, you'll end up repeating it, it is SO true! Looking over history you see the same patterns, it's scary!
But my all time by far favorite parts of history is Ancient History. My LOVE is Egypt. I am obsessed with it, and it has crawled into other parts of my life...but you can read about that in other places on this page.. I love learning and teaching about how ancient societies acted and the innovations they made. Besides <3 Egypt <3 there was Greece, Rome, Persia, Celts, Druids, Native Americans, Mayans, Incas, Aztecs, etc. All of these societies had rules, religion, rituals, and other fascinating things about them, and I love it! And I want to share my love and fascination with the future generations.... I am so tired of hearing people say "History is so boring" ~ if they opened their eyes they would realize it is the most exciting subject taught in schools. There are Love stories, Napoleon and Josephine, is one of my favorites, he loved her, and she was older than he was, they divorced so he could marry and have an heir.. but the whole time he wrote her beautiful love letters declaring his love for her! Napoleon, the conquerer of lands and military genius. Also without his conquering Egypt, we would never have been able to decipher hieroglyphs ~ his scientists found the Rosetta stone, also the word cartouche means cartridge in french and the Pharaohs names were written in something that resembled the cartridges from their guns... see History is amazing!

When school is finished I plan on getting a teaching job, hopefully close by and settling down with my family (and moving out of my parents house), me and my 3 kids ~two are canine = ) My ex bf never wants to settle down, he likes his bachelor life (or frat party life) and I wanted something stable... maybe marriage maybe not, but a nice simple life with less parties, after all I am going to be a teacher... so now my dreams have to shift a little.

A little side note, I had major back problems and recently went under the knife and had MAJOR back surgery.... They went in through both sides, front and back and I have some scarring ='(
They removed a disk and replaced it with a titanium cage through the front, then from the back they fused a rod and screw on my right side, the left side they couldn't do since my spinal cord nerve readings went off the chart and they were afraid they would paralyze me, so now I am going through the healing process which unfortunatly is taking more time then me had hoped, but I am optimistic that my back and my life will get better.. the Kemetic New Years just happened and life starts new....

I Had some awakenings in my life prior to and after surgery. I have decided that life is too Gods damn short to hold grudges, and that being a petty bitch doesn't get you far in life. Also I have had a spiritual awakening. And no not toward Christianity or anything. I just feel closer to the Netjer (Egyptian Gods) I feel there presence and I know they are with me ( for those of you who already think I am nuts, I don't care) I have decided to really listen more to the signs around me and to take it all in before coming to decisions. Also I realized that I am still the bitch i was in HS. And I want to change that. I no longer want to be mean or nasty, there is no need for it. Life is precious and too short. but EVERY life and every being is precious. I want to be able to pass this on to my son, so that he becomes a better person. Today I had a very bad day (read my latest blog) and that means my life can only get better than it is today. My friends both "real" and internet, have proven to me that there are so many people out there that truly care about me. I want to thank a few people for being there for me in the past few weeks during my time of need... Christie R, you've been there since the 4th grade and you never left my side (except to go to Japan and Key West) Jenny my sis, I love you, you're wonderful. My ex husband his wife Nancy, his sis Charity, and his whole family. I love you all. Cristina, Meri and Lizzy my loves...

I would also love to thank my MySpace and HON friends. I love you all esp, William, Ityet, Ana... also there's a group of myspace friends that I know and love but haven't seen in a while, thank you for being there... Stobe, Ginger,and all my work buddies, which is too long to name.... I love you all and without you I wouldn't have made it through all of this.... My heart and love goes out to you

I sculpt, make ceramics and jewelry, so my room is filled with my own work and stuff I bought...my favorite piece in my bought collection is a 3ft statue of the Goddess Bast (the cat goddess)... she's beautiful.... I also study the Kemetic religion which I believe in (it's the study of Ancient Egyptian gods)Recently i became a Member of The Kemetic Orthodox Faith...
I am a Shemsu, a divined daughter of Djehuty & Sehkmet-Mut and beloved of Yinepu-Wepwawet & Ptah-Sokar-Wesir, and my Kemetic name is Tutisenu, which means 'Two makes me Satisfied" ... For those non Kemetics I may sound crazy, but that's cool.

Most people do not know anything about my religion. The gods I believe in are like I stated... the Gods of Ancient Egypt (or Kmt( Kemet), what it was called back then). Many people do not understand it and look at me funny, but it doesn't bother me at all. My now ex bf though of me and my beliefs as "Fucking insane" (that's a quote)-
I also love reading about the study of magic and spells. There are certain spells to release your sexuality, who wouldn't want to emanate more sexuality....
I love studying sex thoughout history and is a major course of my studies, I have written papers on sex in Egypt, In Post WWI Germany, During the Civil War in the US... basically I find culture fascinating and a MAJOR aspect of any culture is their sexual activities, without it, those cultures would not exist. I have made Professors blush with my papers... But I love sex and I love the History of it... It's awesome

I also love reading about Tantra. The ability to control your body and mind. Most people have heard of Tantra, because of Tantric Sex. Let me tell you it WORKS!! Through Tantra I have had men have Multiple Orgasms... they have one or more than after a while they cum... It's amazing! Also as a woman into tantra I can make myself have multiple as well as ejaculate! Not many woman can do this = )

other books I enjoy include historical fiction and non-fiction. Since I am a history freak i love learning new things and also love reading theories about unsolved history... makes you think and try and solve the questions, most of which we will never know the answers to.

I am tired of people wanting me to be something I'm not. If you can't accept me and could only tolerate me, I don't fucking care anymore. Tolerance of people is rude...think about it. Would you like someone to tolerate you (put up with cause they have to) or would you like to be accepted for WHO you ARE. I believe in acceptance, of other people and their cultures.
In fact, I love learning about other cultures and am totally interested in learning about people with beliefs other than mine.. I my opinion, everyone has validity in their beliefs and feelings, and I am tired of prejudice assholes!!

I love watching foreign films, I feel Hollywood is filled with cr@p and watching foreign films is so refreshing. My favs are Bollywood films, (most of them are musicals and I miss musicals!) and ones from Australia & New Zealand . (Once were Warriors & True Love & Chaos [Naveen Andrews is the Yummiest]
Japanese and Chinese films are cool too...they're so dramatic and filled with art, unlike our films!




WHO I"D LIKE TO MEET:
I am interested in meeting men and women who are open minded and who like to discuss religion and philosophy besides other things. esp ideas outside the norm. I am a follower of the Kemetic Orthodox Church, and when you realize what exactly that is, you may think I am into witchcraft ( I have gotten that before) although I am not.. I do however "do Magic" and "cast spells" but again, it's nothing like what you think. I would love to meet Wiccans and followers of other "Pagan" faiths, I think the discussions we could have would be awesome.
As I stated I am no longer into the club scene but will venture out for special occasions. I love just sitting by the fire and talking or getting to know people over a glass of wine at a quiet pub or bar. I love the Blue Honu in Huntington Village, that's one of my favorite places to go = )

I am also interested in meeting people who are different from the crowd and are not followers. I am a unique person and I expect anyone I am friends with to be unique too.

Right now I am looking to meet someone to be a friend and companion and nothing more or less.... maybe in the future I will search for love, right now I am on a quest for new friends = ) with different points of view and who appreciate life and nature, and the mysteries it holds...

Warning: I am a very sarcastic person and come off as abrasive or "mean" but it isn't true, it just appears that way. Once you realize the type of person I truly am, you will realize that I was either just playing or opened my mouth before engaging my brain %) don't we all do that sometimes?
